My car's radiator exploded and stuff so I'm stuck away from my computer all day. Which really sucks, because I had a bunch of time set aside to line up some great posts, photos, and recipes. Dagnabit!

In the meantime, allow me to share this fascinating item I spotted on Playing With Fire & Water: the Chicken Beef Steak.



I don't know this person, but seeing this and thinking back to my far less elegant attempt to eat chicken and beef at the same time makes me feel she is a smarter, more creative, more patient, and probably skinnier and better-looking version of myself. Double dagnabit! If only she would share the how-to on this gem. Not that I would make it, mind you. I just want to know HOW it's made.

Check out more pictures here- the plating is gorgeous but the thing looks a little bit gross once it's been cooked. Also, from a doneness standpoint, as a black n' blue girl, to get the chicken completely cooked, I think the meat might be overdone for my taste...
