Enjoy Corn Syrup-Free Coke & Pepsi During Passover

If you're one of those people who waxes poetic about imported Mexican Coca-Cola with REAL sugar and NO corn syrup, you can rejoice, for like, a few days, because Kosher for Passover Coke and Pepsi are back in full effect. What better way to celebrate the Israelites' liberation from slavery than with a nice frosty Pepsi?

In case you are confused by the previous paragraph, here are some important things to know:
  1. In the U.S., Coke and Pepsi used to be made with sugar but now they are made with evil, evil, evil high fructose corn syrup.
  2. In Mexico, Coke is still made with sugar, making it superior to U.S. Coke in many people's eyes.
  3. During Passover, Jews can't eat anything made from the so-called "Five Grains," which includes corn and therefore corn-derived products like corn syrup.
  4. During Passover, Coke and Pepsi bust out special non-corny products so Jews don't have to deprive themselves of their caffeine/sugar/cola addictions.
Here's what to look for, according to Serious Eats: "yellow caps on Coke bottles or white caps on Pepsi. But to be sure you really have a sweet, sweet sugariffic cola in your hands, check the cap for a "P" next to whatever kosher symbol appears (see photo)."

Here are some hot leads from the BevNet forum on where the stuff's been spotted. I would LOVE to find some before this Passover brunch we are going to on Sunday, so I can prove to everyone there that I am a super badass, so if you've got a tip in the Bay Area, please share!
