Bittersweets are candy hearts with not-so-nice messages... a trip to their site had me literally LOL, despite my best intentions to keep it cool. You can have the choice of dejected, dysfunctional, or dumped. In the running for my favorites are "U LEFT SEAT UP," "DOG IS CUTER," "U HAVE A BLOG," "DO MY DISHES," "PRENUP OK?" and "PEAKED AT 17."



This was the next logical step after a few years ago when the original Necco candy hearts started printing things like "Fax Me" and "Email Me" in addition to the usual "U R Cute" and what have you. I wish I knew someone appropriate to get them for- perhaps one of those people who hates Valentine's Day? At $9.95 for a heart-shaped tin full of them I think it's a pretty good deal.
