Last night I tried the relatively new TinderBox Restaurant with my dear friend Roberto, and while the entire experience was absolutely fantastic, there was one real standout- the free popcorn that came in lieu of the usual bread and butter. I can't remember all the stuff it had on it, but it was some combination of butter, curry, dried peas, ginger, and herbs. Oh, and salt. It was like the best bar snack ever, salty and warm and textured and flavorful, and once you finish off the basket they will bring you more! I'm going to try making it.
