Jones Soda Releases Gross Soda Flavors For The Holidays

Jones Soda has decided to release limited edition packs of Christmas and Chanukah sodas. The flavors sound... um... what's the word. Revolting? Disgusting? Nauseating? Yeah, any of those will do.

The Christmas pack has 1 each of Christmas Ham Soda (blech), Christmas Tree Soda (WTF does that even mean? probably blech as well though... is it like pine-flavored?), Egg Nog Soda (meh, could taste like cream soda I guess, which still isn't a big positive for me) and Sugar Plum Soda (who even knows what a sugar plum is- but this one is probably the least gross of the 4.)

The Chanukah pack sounds equally unappealing, with 1 each of Latke Soda (dear god no), Apple Sauce Soda (probably meh like the Sugar Plum), Chocolate Coins Soda (chocolate soda is so nasty in any form) and Jelly Doughnut Soda (the jelly part is probably ok, it's the doughnut part that worries me in a soda format.)

They're limited edition and cost $12.99 for a 4-pack- check 'em out on the Jones Soda website or try to get lucky in your local BevMo. And if you're a Chrismukkuh type, no worries, there's a combo pack available as well.

But I must opine: Sure, they're novel. But why would I actually drink these when the holidays are a time of general deliciousness around the land? Who would choose this before hitting up another piece of fudge or a hot toddy or homemade peanut brittle or a Santa-shaped cookie or a turkey leg or a candy cane or any of the other countless yummy holiday things out there? Beats me.
