I am back from my jaunt to Mexico. All was pretty great although there were definitely moments where I felt like I was kind of cursed. For one thing, the airline lost my luggage. And although we were staying in a gorgeous villa, there were a whole bunch of feral cats around the property who snuck in and peed on our bed and all the sheets. But as usual, fun times with great friends and delicious food and drink can so easily vanquish such negative mojo!

One of the saddest things about the luggage was that it had salami, 2 bottles of wine, and a whole container of brownie bites in it that we never got to consume. But worse than that, my camera was in my luggage too, so my friend Sasha was tasked with taking a lot of food and drink pictures for me.

As for now, I have to call United Airlines and yell at them/see if there is any hope of finding my bag (yeah, they STILL don't know where it is, 5 days later!) so I will have to share all of the secrets I gleaned at a future date.
