I know and love a lot of nerds. I am kind of a nerd myself, in fact. So I was super excited to find this new site, Cooking For Engineers. It is a site geared towards people who love to cook but have overly analytical minds. There is a lot of deconstruction of foods and comparative taste-testing and cool stuff like that. As well, they have an ingredients dictionary and a simple conversion tool.

I just found it so haven't yet tried the recipes, but at first blush they look reasonably well-considered- check it out!
