It was Ross and my anniversary this weekend, so we went to the spa in the Hotel Vitale, down by the SF Ferry Building. The spa is really tiny but it has these crazy bathtubs on the roof, outdoors.



There is something really bizarre about being on the roof of a hotel in a busy part of San Francisco on a sunny Sunday afternoon taking a bath. It feels extremely decadent. There are 2 baths and they are separated by a wall of bamboo, but I was pretty happy to know the person in the other bath intimately. It would be a little weird if you were up there with a stranger.
